Frankfurter Macaroni Bake
1/2 cup chopped onions 3/4 cup chopped celery 1 pound frankfurters -- sliced diagonally 4 tablespoons butter 3 cups cooked shell or elbow macaroni 1 1/4 cups water 3/4 cup catsup 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons vinegar 2 teaspoons dry mustard 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper Saute onions, celery, and frankfurter slices in butter until browned. Add remaining ingredients. Turn into a 2 quart casserole. top with buttered bread crumbs and bake in a hot oven 375 degrees 20-25 minutes. |
