Honey-Lavendar Biscotti
2 1/4 c Unbleached flour 1 ts Baking powder 1/2 ts Baking soda 1/4 ts Salt 2/3 c Sugar 3 lg Eggs 3 tb Honey 1/2 ts Vanilla 2 tb Minced zest from 1 orange 1 tb Dried lavender blossoms; opt Sift first 4 ingr. together in small bowl. Whisk sugar and eggs in a large bowl to a light lemon color; stir in next 3 or 4 ingr. Sift dry ingr. over egg mixture. Then fold in until dough is just combined. Follow steps 3 and 4 in Lemon-Anise Biscotti. I made some with chocolate chips and pecans and they went over well. I`ll post that recipe later. ----- |
