Crockpot Grains

Ingredients
1/4cupmillet, 1 1/2 oz, uncooked
1/4cupbarley, 1 1/2 oz, uncooked
1/3cupbrown rice, 2 oz, uncooked
1cuponions, chopped
1cupgreen bell pepper, chopped
1/2cupcarrots, finely chopped
1eachkidney beans, canned, drained
8oztomato sauce
1poundtomatoes, canned, chopped, drained, reserve liquid
1 1/2cupcorn, canned, drained or frozen
1teaspoonoregano, dried
1teaspoonbasil, dried
1/2teaspoongarlic powder
1salt, to taste
1pepper, to taste

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a crockpot. Add water to reserved tomato liquid to equal 2 1/2 cups. Stir into grain mixture. Cover and cook on low setting 8 hours. Stir before serving.

Serves 8 as a side dish and 4 - 6 as a filling main course.
You can use any combination of grains. Just use about 1 cupful altogether.
