Peanut Butter Cake

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup shortening
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup buttermilk
3/4 cup hot water
1 cup peanut butter (smooth or chunky)Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Cream sugar, eggs, shortening and vanilla extract. Add buttermilk, hot water, and peanut butter. Add dry ingredients.
