Swedish Strips

1 c Shortening

1 c Brown sugar

1 lg Egg

1 ts Vanilla

1 ts Salt

2 1/2 c Flour

1 c Jam

Icing sugar Cream sugar and shortening together, beat in egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Press dough by hand onto cookie sheet (with raised sides). Bake at 350 F for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden. While still warm, spread with jam. When cool, sift icing sugar over top. Kids love these! Orginated: Cindy Easu, Duncan, B.C. Boooo Pops

Chocolate Covered Bananas
Peel bananas. Cut each banana in half crosswise. Put popsicle stick into flat cut end of each banana half. Place bananas on cookie sheet and put into freezer. Freeze until bananas are firm (about 1 hour). Melt chocolate chips in medium size skillet over low heat. Turn off heat

Chocolate Spiders
Melt the chocolate in either microwave or double boiler until just melted. Stir until smooth. Add marshmallows. Place by spoonfuls on waxed paper. Decorate with licorice "legs". Let dry. Spiders set much faster if put in the freezer for just a few minutes. (Upload by user)

Cinnamon Toast Fingers
Toast the bread. Cut each into four strips. Butter each strip. Mix the sugar and cinnamon together. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar on the toast strips. Put under broiler (or in a toaster oven) until sugar melts. (Upload by user)

Hot Dog Clowns

Juice Jigglers
