Fig Butterscotch Drops

Ingredients
 

2 tbsp butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ground california dried figs
1/2 cup ground nut meats
1/2 tsp vanilla

Preparation
 
Melt butter in heavy frying pan. Stir in brown sugar and cook until
sugar is dissolved. Blend well. Add ground figs and nut meats and
remove from fire. Add flavoring and drop by spoonfuls onto waxed
paper.
