Ingredients| 1 stick oleo 1/2 c. Crisco 4 tbsp. cocoa 1 c. water 2 c. sifted flour 2 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt Bring to a boil oleo, Crisco, cocoa and water. Mix flour, sugar and salt. Pour hot mixture over flour mixture and beat well. Add: 2 eggs 1/2 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. soda --h FROSTING (Prepare 5 minutes before cake is done.) 1 stick oleo 6 tbsp. milk 4 tbsp. cocoa |

Spread pecans and coconut in bottom of greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix German chocolate cake according to box directions and pour over pecans and coconut.
