intruder stew

Ingredients
  easy recipe
2 cans (approx 1 1/2 lbs each) beef stew
1 pkg (approx 9oz) frozen onions in cream sauce, prepared as directed
1 pkg (10oz) frozen peas
1 tsp basil, separated
2 tbs raisins
1 10 count pkg refrigerator biscuits, flaky style

Preparation
  Preheat oven to temperature as directed on biscuit package. In sauce pan, combine beef stew, onions, peas, raisins, and 1/2 tsp basil. Bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes. Transfer to casserole dish and top with biscuits. Sprinkle remaining basil over all. Bake as directed on biscuit package. It?s important that stew mixture be bubbling hot before topping with biscuits. The heat is required to cook the bottom of the biscuits properly.
