Congressional Bean Soup (Crockpot)

| 1 | pound | white beans, small | |
| 8 | cup | water | |
| 2 | cup | ham, diced | |
| 1 | cup | onion, diced | |
| 1 | cup | celery, chopped | |
| 2 | tablespoon | parsley, chopped | |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | pepper | |
| 1 | each | bay leaf | |
