Spicy Wine Pot Roast

Ingredients
3poundbeef, roast
1eachonion, chopped
1eachbrown gravy mix, package
1cupwater
1/4cuptomato sauce, or ketchup
1/4cupwine, red
2teaspoonmustard, prepared
1teaspoonworcestershire sauce
1/8teaspoongarlic powder
1/2teaspoonherbs, dried, mixed
1parsley, fresh, chopped, to garnish
1salt, to taste
1pepper, to taste

Directions:

Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper. Place in crockpot. Combine the remaining ingredients, except parsley, and pour over meat. Cover and cook on Low 10 hours.

Remove the meat and slice. Thicken sauce with flour mixed in a small amount of water and serve over meat sprinkled with chopped parsley.
