Glazed Bacon

1/2 pound thick-sliced meaty bacon
1 tablespoon brown sugar per strip of baconPreheat oven to 350 degrees F.Lay the bacon on a jellyroll pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then pour off the fat.Sprinkle a tablespoon of brown sugar over each bacon strip. Return to the oven for 8 minutes. Turn the bacon over and bake for 2 to 3 minutes longer. Watch carefully so it doesn`t over-brown and caramelize. The sugar can turn too dark in a minute. Remove the bacon from the oven and place on plate to cool slightly.Serves 6.
