Gingered Rhubarb Apple Crisp

Ingredients
 

2 cup diced rhubarb
3 large apples,peeled, cored and
1 sliced
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp minced crystallized ginger
1 tbsp flour

TOPPING

1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 tbsp butter, cold, cut into
1 chunks
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 cup oatmeal

Preparation
 
Place rhubarb, apples, 1 cup sugar, crystallized ginger, and 2
tablespoons flour in a large bowl and toss well. Turn into a greased
9" pie pan. Combine topping ingredients in a bowl and mix with a
pastery blender until crumbly. Spread crumb mixture over rhubarb and
apples and bake at 350F for 45-50 minutes, until fruit is tender and
topping is browned. Serve warm...

Glazed Apples With Cream Sauce
Use medium to large sized apples. Choose apples that are good for baking. Peel, core and thinly slice. Melt butter or margarine in heavy skillet. Add remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat for about 25 30 minutes. Turn often. Apple should be caramelized and tender. Serv (Upload by user)
