Cranberry Port Relish

Ingredients
 

3 cup (12-oz pkg) fresh or frozen cranber, ries
1 medium onion minced
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1 cup golden raisins
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup port
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Preparation
 
Combine all ingredients except cranberries in heavy saucepan. Bring
to boil then simmer for 15 minutes. Add cranberries and simmer
another 20-30 minutes. Towards the end the relish gets very thick.
Make sure you stir it often, since it will stick to the pan.
