Ingredients
 

  • 2 cups liquid (water or veggie stock) unsalted
  • 2 Tblsp of Vegemite
  • 3-4 Tblsp of arrowroot powder.

Shake the Vegemite in a jar with 1/2 cup of the liquid and
the arrowroot. Once the remainder of the liquid is
boiling, add this mixture.


Now, if you are creative and wanting to thicken a soup, use
this idea. I tend to use just a small quantity of liquid,
some arrowroot and Vegemite to flavor a thin liquid on all
kinds of things because of the flavor, which is
subtle, "meaty" and rich, when diluted.

Easy Lemon Dressing

Mango Salsa
Peel and finely dice the mangoes. Finely dice sweet onion and red sweet pepper. Finely chop scallions and cilantro. Mix well in a bowl and squeeze the juice of two key limes into the bowl. Add a pinch of salt and coarse pepper for a bit of kick. Can be served immedia (Upload by user)

Black Bean Salsa
I use my food processor for the tomatoes, cilantro, and the red onions because I am lazy. Combine all but the tomatoes until you are ready to serve it, then add a little more lime juice. This is really good with lime flavored chips. (Upload by user)
