DC>I am not the most creative person in the world when it comes to
using my crock pot. Do any of you have favorite recipes you could
post for me?

Here are a couple of things that I make in mine. I don t have exact
measurements though, because these are just things I thought up
myself.

Brown italian sausage (I usually get about two pounds) in skillet or
put under

broiler just till browned. Drain off fat and let cool just till you
can handle them. Meanwhile they are browning, cup up a whole bunch of
onions and peppers, and if you want, add a clove of garlic. Place
vegees in crockpot. Then cut up sausage in very small pieces. Add to
crockpot. Cover with an eight-ounce can tomato sauce and add oregano,
basil or whatever. Sook about six or seven hours. Serve in sub rolls
or on hamburger burns or over rice.

2 Barbecued Beef

Get a very small pot roast. Season and put in crockpot. Cover with
barbecue

sauce. Add more sauce near the end because the sauce will lose its
flavor during cooking, or add new sauce after slicing. Remove roast
from crockpot after cooking, and slice into thin slices. (maybe
slices isn t the right word,

it kind of shreds.) Anyway, serve in hamburger buns. Good with baked
beans and salad.

Shortcut Italian Vegetable Soup
Grated Parmesan cheese Warm slow boling pot with hot tap water. In pot, stir dry soup mix into very hot water. Add onions, carrots, tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours. Turn control to high; add beans and corn. Cover and cook on high fo (Upload by user)

Shreded Crockpot Chili
Trim the roast and place in bottom of crockpot. Add remaining ingredients except beans. Cover crockpot and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. Remove meat and shred with a fork. Return meat to crockpot and add beans (if desired). Cook on high for 15 minutes or until beans are hot (Upload by user)

Shrimp Chowder

Skiers Sweet Sour Stew
Heat oil in skillet and brown round steak. Transfer to crock pot or large kettle. Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder, paprika, brown sugar, salt, vinegar, corn syrup, carrots, onions, green pepper and pineapple. Cover and simmer for 6 hours or until meat is tender. Serve in (Upload by user)

Slow Cooker Tamale Pie

Slow Simmered Pork Roast
Mix together all the ingredients except the pork. Place the meat in an ovenproof casserole just large enough to hold it. A crockpot may be used. Pour the sauce over the top, cover the dish and bake at 275 degrees from 5 to 8 hours, depending on your taste. By (Upload by user)

Smothered Chicken Crockpot
Cut chicken breasts into stew size chunks, and saute while washing and cutting mushrooms in half. Then simply add all ingredients to chicken and simmer for about 1 hour. You can also do this in a crock pot and simmer all day till dinner if your want.   &nbs (Upload by user)

Smothered Chicken

Sombrero Dip
