Slow Cooker Spicy Pork And Cabbage

Ingredients
4-6eachpork loin chops, trimmed, 1 inch thick
1salt and pepper
1kitchen bouquet
4cupcabbage, coarsely shredded
3-4eachapples, tart, cored, diced
1/2eachonion, chopped
2eachcloves, whole
1/2eachbay leaf
1 3/8cupsugar
1cupwater
2tablespooncider vinegar
2teaspoonsalt

Directions:

Season pork chops lightly with salt and pepper and brush with kitchen bouquet; set aside. Place cabbage, apples and onion in crockpot. Add remaining ingredients except pork chops. Toss together well to evenly distribute spices. Arrange chops on top of cabbage mixture, stacking to fit. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or on High for 4 to 5 hours. Serves 4 to 6.
