Soda Cracker Pie

Ingredients
 

12 soda crackers, crumbled fine
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
12 dates, chopped
3 egg whites
1 cup chopped nuts

Preparation
 
Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add brown sugar and beat
until the peaks stand up stiff. Combine crackers, dates, and nuts in
seperate bowl and gently fold into egg whites. Add vanilla last and
pour into a greased 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or
until brown. Can be served with ice cream or whipped cream but it is
also good by itself!
