Gordon s Succulent Soy Sauce Chicken From Liv

Ingredients
 

1 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp dry mustard
1 1/2 tsp dry ginger
1 tsp white pepper
5 each cloves crushed garlic
1/2 cup peanut oil

Preparation
 
Mix sauce ingredients in a closed container, refrigerate at least
overnight. Marinate chicken in sauce 1 hour before roasting. Cover
chicken with foil and roast for 1/2 hour at 400 degrees F. Remove
foil, add 1/2 C. water and reduce heat to 375 degrees F. Baste
chicken every 20 minutes, adding water to the pan as needed. Continue
roasting until skin is brown and crispy, and chicken is done. Total
cooking time is 1 1/2 to 2 hours. This recipe is also great with
pork, veal, and beef ribs! Makes 4 servings.
