Hearty Vegetable Stew

Ingredients
 

32 oz tomato juice
14 1/2 oz tomatoes -- pureed
2 cup water
2 large potatoes -- chopped
15 oz garbanzo beans, canned --
1 drained
15 oz kidney beans, canned --
1 drained
1 cup lentils -- rinsed and
1 drained
1 large onion -- chopped
2 tsp garlic powder
1 cup red pepper -- diced
1 cup green pepper -- diced
10 oz frozen broccoli -- chopped
2 large carrots -- grated
2 tbsp dried parsley
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp ground cumin

Preparation
 
Combine everything. After bringing to a boil, reduce heat & simmer,
covered, 30 - 45 minutes or until lentils are tender.
